Some of the Animes
Nodame Cantabile
-The music, the characters, the feelings and the everything. The art is okay but still lovely and suit the series very well. I am a piano player and love classic music so this anime with humour, music, realistic drama and romance was just the perfect anime for me. It even drove me to rewatch it twice, read the manga 3 times and made me watch the drama even though I’m not the big drama lover. + high school love is sweet but so unrealistic so when this anime take place in college / university I was sold. They kiss and Hug and do couple things without being all.. “WHAT IS THIS UNKNOWN FEELING CALLED LOVE?” (I love shoujo high school manga.. don’t misunderstand XD)
Chihayafuru
Have you seen the art? It is so beautiful and the character development make you cry and treasure every second you watch them. You will carve to know more about them, to cheer them up when they ‘duel’ and cry with them when they feel sad. Even the ‘ugliere’ characters will get a special place in your heart. The soundtrack is beautiful and nice and the scenery is beautiful. It might be a bit hard to watch because they play the card game ‘Karuta’ but I love the traditional Japan and learning a bit about the poetry of a country you love is nice. + I liked the way the cards was read and the deep meaning behind each poem. It made me want learn and study the Hyakuninisshu and the game~
Natsume Yuujinchou
Slice of life with sweet characters~ Nice art and relaxing plot. I love shintoism and I find yokais very interesting. So a cute story about yokais and with my favourite Voice actor as the main role, how can I NOT love it? Also I adore the humour and the small things.
Durarara
Voice actor collection porn. Anime with THE voice actors. Most of my favourite voice actors are in this anime. I like the art and the plot. Gang wars and internet chatrooms~ Also the characters made a big impact on me. I wanted to know more about them and learn about their past and see how they would develop in the future. This anime was the first which made me want to read the light novel it was based on. and GOSH the light novel is so cool too and I’m so sad that the anime didn’t continue further but well I won’t complain since the anime ended well and I’m in love with this forever… please check Baccano out too.. same author and artist~
Mushishi
One of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. When I finished this series I listened to the soundtrack NONSTOP for a year or so. It is so relaxing and nice. I love the plot and the main character. I was really fascinated that the story didn’t really follow a story line but each episode is a new story. Each story is unique and well might tell a bit about yokais or something spiritual yokai like creatures called mushi. I was a bit scared when I was watching it but I got used to it and fell in love right away. I wish it was longer and I tend to rewatch some episodes when I need to relax~
Shinsekai Yori
Psychological and interesting storyline. I was SO scared when watching this but I couldn’t make myself stop I was caught into the universe and was always waiting anxious for new episodes. I cried a lot and adored the characters. The character development and the time jumps were all interesting and I laughed and was shocked many times not to mention disgusted. I would rewatch it again if I wasn’t too scared because the Soundtrack freaked me out and the things which happened made such a big impact on me that I couldn’t sleep. but the art is so beautiful and I think it is a bit unique or special which I liked a lot.
